Skate Style 4 Coming May 18th!

4th Annual Skate Style Contest is coming Saturday, May 18th 11-4

This is a great local event with all the vibes of an old school 70’s skate event. All cruiser boards and skaters are judged on their style and less on technical tricks. Everyone who attends is amazed how it is like a time capsule back to the 70’s. We even park old cars around the event so all the photos look like the 70’s. You won't want to miss this family friendly local event.

What started out as a simple idea turned out to be a really fun and successful event in Leucadia. We invited local skaters, amateurs and pros alike to come out for an old school cruiser board style contest, held in the lot at Seaweed and Gravel. The parking lot has a natural slope that is perfect for pumping down and generating speed to show off your style. Most of these kids grew up skating this little hill. The event is themed 70's like the contests of old so come dressed the part spectators or contestants alike. Hay bales and flags line the course, guest judges tally the style and it's all about good vibes and fun. Guest DJ Tony Larson spinning classic records and Vendors will be selling goodies at the event.
