Sierras Solo Motorcycle Trip

Yes, again.. This is probably my favorite route yet, so I tend to do go back to it when I have the chance. Kernville to 100 Giants and then skirt the west side of the Sierras until Yosemite, cross over to the east side.             This was a first time route for me, Bridgeport to Sonora. This road had amazing scenery, perfect high speed curves and no cars to be seen. Sierra Solo Ride ... the open road is calling

After doing California Highway 1 solo, I was eager to explore the Sierra mountains and its many wonders. This route did not disappoint! San Diego was my starting point and I headed first to Lake Isabella near Kernville and took the Sierra Highway north high in the middle of the Sierras. I had a military jet pilot scare the crap out of me as he flew in to the canyons with the steep walls, banking into the turns. This road leads you to 100 Giants, The Great Western Divide Highway which bring you to the 190 which is turn backs for miles.  This road leads you to a town called Springville and from there you can go North through ranch roads...
