Saturday we did a Seaweed and Gravel Ride out on local roads winding through some amazing twisty farm roads. We had a good turn out and some riders ended up splitting off for responsibilities after about half way. Eventually we ended up at Garage 79 out on the 79 heading toward Warner Springs on the backside of Palomar Mountain. If you haven't checked out Garage 79, it is an old gas station converted into a great stop with a well stocked frig of craft beers + hand made tacos. The way back was fast and beautiful. The temps were in the 70's and we spun around Warner Springs to the 78 and back to the coast. Thank you to everone...

We had a good turn out for the ride! It ended up being the hottest day of the year. With some delay we made it to downtown to Genteel Coffee to meet up with another ten or so riders. My bike was overheating and spilling fluid everywhere. I filled the overflow bottle, which is an antique glass bottle with water from the coffee shop. I met with the guys from Alchemy Motorcycles about a build that we would collaborate on. Woo! Everyone saddled up and we headed east on the 94 towards Mt. Laguna. RIDE! Saturday, April 13! Meet at Seaweed at 10:00, KSU at 10:30 sharp. We are heading out to the old pony express trail past Agua Caliente to @dylmarphoto ‘s birthday desert celebration. There will be dirt bikes there we can rip around on for a bit and also I will have LUNCH and beers and drinks there waiting for us!! So let me know if you’re planning on coming to a get a head count! I’ll get extra, so no pressure. We will head back and get back around 4 or 5ish.
